Event track:
The Anthropocene: An urban planet

The Future Earth Media Lab will launch a new digital, print, and live magazine - the Anthropocene - that draws its name from the human-made geologic epoch in which we have created. The magazine will bring together the world’s most creative writers, designers, scientists, and entrepreneurs to explore how we can create a sustainable human age we actually want to live in.

The Anthropocene is solutions-focused journalism. It will take a critical look at the world we have made and the future we are creating. The first issue, appropriately enough, is about cities and features authors such a Frances Carincross (former The Economist editor) and Andrew Revkin (New York Times).

Celebrate the launch at the HabitatXChange pavilion.

Speakers:
Josh Tewksbury, Future Earth Colorado Global Hub Director and Executive Editor, Anthropocene Magazine
Owen Gaffney, Co founder of the Future Earth Media Lab, Director of international media and strategy at the Stockholm Resilience Centre
Kathryn Kohm, Editor-in-Chief, Anthropocene Magazine
